Things to do near Bear’s Den Resort Orlando
The Bear’s Den Resort Orlando’s excellent location close to all of the most popular sites and attractions of the city, means there is no end of things to do in the surrounding areas. If you want to explore more than the incredible amenities on site, then it’s a case of simply hopping in the car and heading out on a short journey to everything you want to see. Top of the list of things to do in Orlando, is of course, the theme parks. You can’t miss a visit to Magic Kingdom, or Universal.
However, if big theme parks aren;t your thing but you still want to enjoy the exhilaration of Orlando’s incredible entertainment offerings, you could pay a visit to Disney Springs, Fun Spot, or International Drive, where you can try your hand at indoor skydiving, go-karting, and explore the whacky museum of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, just to name a few.
Looking for something a bit more educational to do? The Orlando Science Center is open for exploration, and a visit to the John F Kennedy space center will certainly be a memorable trip - if you’re lucky, you might visit Orlando when a space launch is taking place!

Onsite at the Bear’s Den Resort you will find a huge range of fantastic restaurants, such as the the upscale restaurant Traditions, located within the Nicklaus Clubhouse and offering a pleasant atmosphere and extensive menu. As a guest at Bear’s Den, you will also have easy access to the restaurants at Reunion Resort, including Eleven, a sushi bar, a bar & Grille located at the waterpark and 7593 Chophouse. If you want to look a little more further afield than the restaurants available at the resort, then you are surrounded by a wealth of restaurants within a few minutes journey time, including family favorites such as Taco Bell and iHop.

Airports
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is located 27.4 miles away from Bears Den Resort, making it an approximate 31 minutes' drive away. Kissimmee, FL (ISM-Kissimmee Gateway) is a similar distance, 28 minutes' drive away.
A shuttle service also operates between Bears Den and Orlando International Airport.
Buses and Shuttles
Bears Den has recently improved its Disney Transportation service and theme park shuttle tickets can now easily be arranged. This service can be booked from Reunion concierge desk or online and offers transportation from the resort to a host of Disney Parks, including Magic Kingdom/Ticket and Transportation Center, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.
Taxis
A number of taxi companies including Uber operate in the locality and wider Orlando area, enabling convenient door-to-door transport at any time of day.
