The two things to consider when deciding when the best time to visit Solara Resort Orlando, is the weather, and whether or not it is peak time for traveling. Typically, the weather in Florida never gets cold, and the state enjoys a climate that ranges from mild through late fall, winter and early spring, to quite high temperatures in the summer season. As the weather gets hotter, Orlando can experience sudden downpours, but these are normally quite warm and don’t last long. If you don’t want to get wet, avoid traveling during these times, otherwise, in terms of weather, you can generally expect warm and dry conditions for most of the year.
However, in the peak summer months, you may find that traveler numbers increase due to schools being closed, and families are taking their vacations together at this time. This is also true of the festive season, and the weeks surrounding Easter. The resort may be quite significantly busier at these time, though it shouldn’t impact your vacation too much. What you may want to consider, though, is what the queues will be like if you are vacationing in order to visit Orlando’s theme parks. With a larger influx of visitors, wait times can balloon, which may mean you may not get on as many rides as you otherwise would outside of peak season. If looking to reach Walt Disney Park by bus, then the best service from nearby Solara Resort is the once daily service Line 301 to Disney Springs Superstop (30 minutes). From there, take Line 50 to the Walt Disney Ticket and Transportation center (12 minutes). The total journey time including walking from the resort to the bus stop and from the final bus stop is approximately 1-hr 20.

Solara Resort’s prime position in Kissimmee means no matter which home you stay in on-site, you are perfectly located close to all of the major attractions of the city. If you hire a car, getting to and from everything you want to see couldn’t be easier.
Top of the list of things to do near Solara Resort is of course the famous theme parks of Orlando. This includes Disney World, which is an absolute must-see no matter your age, as well as Universal Studios, where you will find the famous Wizarding World of Harry Potter. If you want to visit something a little more low-key than the main parks but still want to enjoy exhilarating rides and attractions, have a look at Disney Springs and International Drive.
