Villa Windu Asri is a stately six-bedroom villa inspired by Asias iconic heritage hotels, located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Petitenget, close to Legian Beach and Seminyaks world-class restaurants and bars. Ideal for multiple families and groups of friends, the villa is exceptionally spacious and boasts sophisticated living and dining areas, equally sized bedrooms and an exotic walled garden with 13-metre swimming pool. Painstakingly designed to invoke the days of grand travel, the villas colonial features are offset by plush interiors and modern facilities including a media room, state-of-the-art kitchen and well-equipped gym. The villa has a manager, butlers and a chef to prepare gourmet meals.
Windu Asri rests within a secure gated estate in the centre of the fashionable Petitenget area. A five-to-ten-minute walk will bring you to Jalan Petitenget, which is home to numerous eateries, ranging from cheap and cheerful local warungs, to health-food cafes, to internationally acclaimed fine dining restaurants such as the marvellous Sarong (advance booking essential), Merah Putih for upmarket Indonesian cuisine, Dahana offering Japanese cuisine, Biku offering Asian delights, the famous Ku De Ta and Potato Head beachclubs, the classy W Retreat with its choice of five-star restaurants and fabulous Sunday brunches, and the long-established, beachside La Lucciola. Petitenget Beach is the northern extension of the sweeping Seminyak Beach, offering awesome sunset views and enjoyable walks in both directions all the way to Kuta or Canggu, complemented by the many beachside cafes en route. For shopping there are numerous boutiques within walking distance and beyond, ATMs are nearby and easy to find, spas are in abundance, and taxis cruise by continuously.

The rooms
- Named after Indonesia's main islands, the six air-conditioned bedroom suites are enormous. As they are equally impressive, there is no designated master suite.
- Four have super-king four-poster beds, and two have twins that can be set up as super-kings.
- All have 40-inch satellite TVs and DVD/CD player, and safe deposit box
- The bathrooms are large, with double basins and walk-in rain-shower. Two have garden courtyards and there are bathtubs in two.
- Two connecting bedrooms occupy a separate pavilion by the pool, each with garden bathrooms and a shared terrace with seating overlooking the shallow section of the pool.
- One bedroom is on the ground floor of the main pavilion, and three are on the upper level, opening onto shaded terraces.
- Rollaway beds and cots can be provided for children
Location
Windu Asri is located in Petitenget on the edge of Seminyak - convenient to shopping and a growing number of designer boutiques, in addition to a plenitude of sumptuous spas, chic lounges and vibrant nightspots, including the popular Potato Head.
The villa is a short stroll from Legian Beach, well-known for its picture-perfect sunsets. A wide choice of fine dining restaurants, including Ku De Ta, Hu'u, Metis, La Lucciola, Sardine, Merah Putih and Sarong are less than a kilometre away.
The location offers easy access to the mountains and rice terraces on the western slopes; it is less than an hour from the cultural and artistic town of Ubud, and just five minutes' from the Sunset Route, gateway to the eastern side of the island.
