3-bedroom 4-bathroom villa with private pool and located high on the hillside of Lurin above Gouverneur beach.
Located high on the hillside of Lurin above Gouverneur Beach, Villa Bellissima looks out over a stunning stretch of blue sea and sky. The property’s southern orientation affords a sweeping view of the Caribbean as far as the islands of Saba and St. Kitts, with gorgeous sunsets visible most days of the year. The stone and hardwood terrace provides plentiful space for sunning beside the infinity pool, as well as sheltered and shady areas for outdoor dining, reading or just relaxing and enjoying the breeze. The spacious main building houses an exceptionally large gourmet kitchen with top-quality appliances, granite countertops and a large breakfast bar. The interior living area is elegantly furnished with designer pieces from the collection of Christian Liaigre. This high-ceilinged, loft-like space can be opened completely to the terrace and the view beyond, or can be enclosed with hideaway sliding glass doors or screens, depending on your preference. Relax on the sofa or finely upholstered chairs while reading or watching a film on the high-definition TV. A multi-zone sound system with speakers indoors and outdoor lets you play the music where you want it.
Villa Belissima's three air-conditioned bedrooms are nearly equal in size, furnishings, and amenities. The first two are located adjacent to the main house and near to the pool, both with four-poster king beds, polished granite floors, ensuite baths with rain-head showers, and either walk-in closets or plentiful closet space. The villa's showers are designed to couple a clean and modern aesthetic with a sense of verdant, indoor/outdoor space as you might expect to find in Bali. The third bedroom—equally well appointed and providing a king bed and ensuite bath—occupies a separate cottage with its own private entrance and terrace.
The entire house is wired for internet access and has an intercom system connecting all rooms. Lush gardens surround the property, and the 15-meter infinity pool cascades over the front and eastern side. The terrace enjoys plentiful sunshine throughout the day. The combination of the natural surrounding and the refined elegance of the villa's design creates an ideal setting for privacy and relaxation.
Villa Belissima is also an excellent choice for persons in wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. With the exception of the third bedroom, all areas of this home are fully accessible, with wide doorways and no stairs. There are shallow, easily manageable steps into the pool. Parking spaces for five cars are also on the same level as the main house and two bedrooms, convenient to the entrance and kitchen, also with no stairs to navigate.
Situated near the top of the road to Gouverneur, Villa Bellissima is less than two minutes from the beach and four minutes to the shopping, boutiques and restaurants of Gustavia. The grocery store in Lurin is right nearby, and you are only about ten minutes from the supermarkets, pharmacies and other conveniences in St. Jean.
