Two graceful wings of galvanized steel give the villa its name and state clearly at first glance that this is, in the truest sense, a remarkable home. Both above and below those two eye-catching architectural sculptures, the various rooms of Villa Wings contribute in their own ways to an overall sense of boldness, grace, and careful use of space and materials.
The main living area is situated beneath the larger of the two wings, in an open and airy space that beckons you to sit and gaze out at the magnificent view. This area flows directly into the terrace, and the infinity pool that borders the hardwood deck becomes a fountain wall down to a lower level as well. A second living room also serves as a home cinema, and can be closed and air conditioned for a respite from the afternoon heat. The kitchen is convenient to the terrace and living areas, and the indoor dining room provides a spectacular view of the Bay of St. Jean and the lights of boats and neighboring islands in the distance. The center island of the kitchen continues outside to become an integrated outdoor dining area for eight people under the shade of an umbrella. You will find also on this level a fully equipped fitness room with a wide-open view that makes workouts more enjoyable.
The master bedroom is one flight up from the main living area, with a spectacular view out over the wings of the roof to the blue horizon. With an integrated ensuite bath and exposures to the west and north, the room is loft-like and airy. The second and third bedrooms are also on the upper level, one with a sea view and the other with a garden view, and each with its own private ensuite bath. The fourth bedroom is one level down from the main living area, but also enjoys an excellent view of the Atlantic and semi-private deck area.
Guests also appreciate the convenient, central location of this property, as it is very near to the shopping, restaurants and beaches of St. Jean, and just a quick drive from Saline Beach and Gustavia as well.
