Love cats and coffee? Then Orlando Cat Cafe, located at Cagans Crossings in the city center, is the purr-fect place for you. This cozy coffeehouse lets you pop in for a coffee, a pastry and some playful antics with the café’s resident felines – there are more than a dozen of the cute little fluffballs lazing around in the coffee shop’s purpose-built play area. There’s an additional fee if you want to cuddle the cats, but it’s free to look through the special viewing window and see the fun from a distance.
Although everyone is welcome at the coffee shop, they do have a maximum number of people allowed in the play area. To ensure you get a place, we’d recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance – this is Central Florida’s first-ever cat café and it’s proving to be a popular spot for locals and visitors alike!
Paloma Coffee Co.
507 Main St, Windermere
Located in Windermere, a short drive west of downtown Orlando, Paloma Coffee Co offers more than just the usual morning coffee. This modern hangout is the ideal place to catch up with friends, serving up loads of tasty baked goods, plus plenty of gluten-free and vegan options.
Windermere itself is handily located for lots of Orlando’s top attractions including Universal Studios and Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Foxtail Coffee Bar

Dedicated to sourcing some of the world’s finest coffees, Foxtail Coffee Co puts a lot of focus on quality and protecting the environment. Needless to say, the beans used at this local chain are sourced responsibly.
There are a few Foxtail Coffee Co cafés in Orlando, including two in Winter Park, one in Downtown Orlando and another opening in the Hourglass District. They roast their own beans and sell them by the packet, and can even deliver to your doorstep!

If you’d prefer to grab your coffee and go, there’s a convenient drive through. Drunken Monkey Coffee holds its own comedy night with 10–15 acts per night from 8.30pm. Fridays is showcase night and Saturday is open mic night.
