Most of our resorts in Orlando are located close to Disney World and are just a short drive from the airport.
The main passenger airport is Orlando International Airport, located southeast of Orlando around 19 miles from Disney World. Getting to your resort from the airport is a very easy journey – just head southwest along Interstate 4, and the journey shouldn’t take any longer than around 30 minutes by car.
There are a variety of transport options for getting to the resort from the airport, as well as getting around while you are on vacation.
You can pre-book a taxi so it is waiting for you on arrival, or you can take a taxi from outside the airport’s exit area at the designated taxi rank. This shouldn’t cost any more than around $50-$60 at most.
If you prefer, you can opt for a private transfer or chauffeur-driven vehicle from the airport to your resort, in which case you will be met by your driver at flight arrivals who will assist you with your luggage to the waiting vehicle.
Alternatively, you can hire a car for a few days or for the entire duration of your vacation. These vehicles can usually be picked up from the supplier at the airport and returned back before your flight on the day of your departure.
