Propose in the shade of the Tree of Life
Where better to start the next part of your story together than under the wise gaze of the stunning Tree of Life at Disney World? A stunning, realistic sculpture of a Baobab tree, it took around 18 months to complete. Located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, the tree was built to honor the circle of life, and everybody’s individual place within it, and symbolizes the beauty of our world.
There are several top notch spots around the Tree of Life that are perfect for a proposal. You can choose to propose at the base of the tree at its South side, or head across the river for a stunning view of both the tree and the shimmering water in between.
Propose in front of Cinderella’s castle
When people think about proposals at Disney World, often, the iconic Cinderella castle comes to mind. Head to Main Street for the most famous view of the castle, and be sure to have someone along who can catch the epic view on camera. There is no better way to kick-off your engagement to a magical start, underneath the soaring reaches of the pastel-hued turrets.
Main Street is just one of the locations where you can propose underneath the stunning castle. You can head to the water’s edge in Liberty Square for a beautiful side view, with the glimmering water beside you, or propose on the bridge that leads from the castle across to Liberty Square, which also offers an impressive view of the castle’s reflection in the water. Also, at the entrance of the castle, there are turrets on either side before the castle itself, which makes for a stunning extra element if you are planning on having any photos taken during the proposal. Visit the Wishing Well
This is one of the most magical spots in the Disney Parks – a rustic and charming Wishing Well located close to Cinderella’s castle. - On a boat ride
Glide amongst shimmering waters in the Disney parks. There are plenty of opportunities to climb aboard a boat in Disney, including private hire of a vessel for just the two of you, or a boat that can carry a few of your friends and family if you were hoping to propose with your favorite people surrounding you.
